The children have been busy again this week! Their task this time was to invent, design and prepare a healthy fruit salad and smoothie. They all brought in their own ingredients and I must say produced some fantastic meals. The lesson was a great success and the children did a fabulous job of displaying their work before devouring it. Mr. Williams

Would You Eat It?
Here are some of the children deciding who's going to go first!
dressed up in old fashioned clothes and our teachers were acting like WW2 teachers. We tried all different food that was rationed in WW2.
We tried Spam, Marmite, Pork Dripping, Ox Tongue and Brawn (Sheep's Head). Then we had Lemon Curd and Apples with Condensed Milk.
It was a fun afternoon and a great way of learning what it was like for children during WW2.
