J7 Gnossienne Chords

J8 Gnossienne Chords

Music

In Music today we all had a good snooze!

Actually we were listening to Gnossienne NO 3 by the French composer Satie.

We played three scales that Satie invented and then played chords (groups of three notes).

We then played our special chords with the accompaniment of Gnossienne NO 3.

Watch the videos when I finally remember how to upload them!

Multiplying by 10, 100 and 1000

In Maths we are multiplying by 10, 100 and 1000.

We began by playing 'Show Me' on our individual whiteboards.

We then worked on several exercises in our books while some people improved their number value playing a game on the interactive whiteboard.

For those of you who didn't have a go of the game, here is the link.

Features of an information leaflet

In Language, we are looking at features of an information leaflet.

Today we looked at a leaflet about France and annotated it to find good features.

We wrote these in our books and then designed a template for our own information leaflet about Paris.
