Today we finished our presentations.

Our group talked abour toys in the 1940s and 1970s. Toys were a lot more basic in the 1940s. Comics, toy cars, dolls and skipping ropes were popular. In the 1970s ATARI was the 'to have' toy. Remember ATARI, mums and dads?

Our group talked about entertainment. Big Band music was popular in the 1940s. In the 1970s popular music was more 'Waterloo' than 'Chatanooga Choo Choo' (There is a feeble joke in there somewhere! 5 house points to whoever can spot it).

We talked about toys. We brought in a Slinky, which, surprisingly was introduced in the 1940s and a Rubic Cube made famous in the 1970s. We had a vote as to which was the most popular today. The Slinky won hands down. Which would be your favourite?
