In history we are learning about food during WW2.Today we used our D.I.A.L skills to analyse some information.
D means deduction.
I means inference.
A means authorial.
I means literal.
Each group was given a set of D.I.A.L questions about food and rationing during WW2.
We then assessed our learning by answering questions on a 'thinking quilt'.
Then we had to decide which foods were rationed and which were freely available.
Finally, we looked up some wartime menus on the internet.
