Forces Fact Files

This afternoon we continued working on our science 'Fact Files'. Here are a few examples.

In science this afternoon we were practising some new skills.

We had to produce a fact file about Forces.

We began by taking part in a 'carousel' activity.
Each table was given a different question about forces. Every group had to visit each table in turn and write down the answers to the question and any other information that they knew about the subject.

These answers were then put on display in the class. We then had to use the information from these sheets and books that were made available, to produce our 'Fact File'.

We are preparing for a written assessment. We have to write a balanced argument about the building of Euro Disney in Paris.

Each group was given a section of French society (tourists, local farmers, business people, French traditionalists and workers in Euro Disney). They had to prepare a presentation arguing for or against Euro Disney.

These ideas will help us write our balanced arguments.

Music; Junkanoo

Today we sung and played JUNKANOO.

Fist of all we practised singing the song. Then we all had the opportunity to play each of the instrumental accompaniments.
