Text - William Shakespeare's Macbeth
Children have been given time to act out the death scene.
Lady Macbeth drugs the guards and convinces Macbeth to murder King Duncan. He murders the King but is ridden with guilt. Lady Macbeth frames the guards and sends Macbeth to his bedchamber!
The children were given 45 minutes to plan their group's performance of the death scene. They then performed this to the rest of the class who evaluated it with the criteria: 'Dwy Seren a Dymuniad' (2 stars and a wish).
Year 6 are thoroughly enjoying reading one of William Shakespeare's most popular plays :)
