Music: Singing in harmony!!!!!

In Music this afternoon we learned to sing NANAUMA and played an ostinato (a repeated musical phrase).

We then sung NANAUMA in four part harmony......a very difficult task.

Literacy: Film Trailers

Today in Literacy we continued looking at the story of The Hunchback Of Notre Dame.

We had to discuss Quasimodo's actions and feelings at pivotal points of the story.




J8 also looked at two contrasting trailers to films of The Hunchback: The 1939 black and white film and the Disney cartoon.

We discussed the features of each trailer, their similarities and their differences.

Both classes will be writing and performing our own trailers later in the week.
