Macbeth: Radio Scripts

In J8 we are working on a radio script about the night that Duncan was killed.

We have looked at the story adaptation and highlighted the parts of the story that we need to include in our scripts.

Today we tried to match the story to the play script written by Shakespeare.

Children In Need

Well done Y6. You organized a fantastic 'Children In Need Day' event. I am not sure how much you raised, but I am sure it was a huge amount.

This week Y6 have put a huge amount of work into preparing for 'Children In Need'.

Here they are putting the finishing touches to their stalls.

Some Y6 Evacuees!

Welsh: Reading

Year 6 have been improving their Welsh reading skills this week.

History in Year 6

This week Y6 were transported to 1940.
J8 looked at postcards from evacuees and had to endure an air-raid before writing their own postcards about what it was like to live in London during the Blitz.
J7 discussed what it was like to live in Nazi Germany, and wrote letters to Hitler.
