Macbeth

As part of our Heroes and Villains topic we are focusing on Shakespeare's Macbeth. We have also been fortunate enough to be chosen as one of only 1000 schools in the UK to join the Shakespeare's schools festival. This event allows us to put on a performance of Macbeth with the children of year 6 in the Wales Millennium Centre. Auditions have taken place and the children will be informed next week as to which part they will be playing. Then the hard task of practising will begin, photos will be uploaded as soon as this starts.

 

For your information the Muni in Pontypridd is showing Macbeth on Monday 7^th October at 7.30 pm, tickets cost £5.50. This would be a fantastic opportunity for the children to see a performance of the show before they put it on themselves.
