Another wonderful day in Y6.

Today we made our 'Super Salads and Smoothies'.

Gary, the Head Chef of Jamie Oliver's restaurant in Cardiff, kindly gave up more of his time to come to school to judge our efforts.

Everyone with long hair was instructed to either tie it back or wear a hat......here are some examples!!!!!!

We spent an hour putting our salads and smoothies together before Gary judged them.

It was very close.....Gary tried EVERY salad and smoothie but finally made his choice.

In third place were Christina, Stacey, Fiona, James, Bethan and Shauna from J8.

In second place were Lloyd, Jack, Robin, Milly, Ella and Lauren from J7.

In first place were Hannah, Olivia, Charlotte, Harry and Ryan from J8. The winners each received a £10 gift voucher for the restaurant in Cardiff. We had a wonderful day. Thanks again to Mrs Barter for organising it, and to Gary for taking time out of his very busy kitchen.
