Our Music topic this term is called 'Performing Together'.

This afternoon we listened to a two part piece of music called SILVER AND GOLD. This song is all about the value of friendship. It contains the well known saying (that none of us knew), 'Make new friends but keep the old, the one is silver and the other gold'.

We then concentrated on the second part (a backing vocal), called I LOVE MY FRIENDS.

We practised singing the backing vocal and then added the beat using different body percussion. We had to follow the music very carefully. It was more tricky than it first seemed (I think I made the most mistakes)!

Then we put the vocals and the body percussion together.

Fingers crossed that the video on my new camera will upload onto the Blog.
