Science Skills in Y6

In Science we are assessed on our skills rather than our scientific knowledge.

This afternoon we learnt how to draw a table.

J7 used Newton Meters to measure the weight of objects around the class.

J8 used Stopwatches to measure the speed at which different shapes of paper fell to the ground.

Each test was carried out twice and then the results were averaged for reliability.

The tables had to be drawn and labelled correctly, using the correct units in the titles.
