The Hunchback Of Notre Dame

Today we looked at an abridged text of The Hunchback Of Notre Dame, by Victor Hugo

We then had to choose some characters and write a description of them.


The real story is very different from the Disney cartoon version with which many of us are familiar.

Here is a clip from the 1939 version. It shows Quasimodo saving Esmeralda from the scaffold and claiming 'Sanctuary' in Notre Dame
