Our D.T. project this term is to make an electric car.

Today we investigated how real life cars actually move.

We began by watching a great video about cars.


We were shown what we will be given to complete the task, and had to draw and identify the equipment.

Next, we had to design the shells of our cars.

Then we had to annotate them.

Later, we designed our chasis, while thinking about how we can actually get our electric cars to move. We also wrote our design specifications.

Which of these designs do you think will work?

Over the next few weeks we will make our electric cars, following our design specifications and methods. We will build, evaluate and rebuild. Then there will be the final evaluation and 'The Race'! Forget Lewis Hamillton. Blog on to find our winners!
