Today we continued with our History investigation into everyday life in the 1940s and the 1970s. We all prepared our own enquiries.
Each group chose an aspect of everyday life. These ranged from popular music, to fashion, toys, sports, communication, transport and school life.
We used the internet and the school library as sources for our presentations.
In our groups we organised ways of presenting our evidence. Some of us prepared a written and oral presentation, while others did a powerpoint presentation. Some of us even wrote a role play to present our findings.
Tomorrow we will do our presentations and the winner will be filmed for the blog.
Next week we are having some visitors to the school to answer our questions about both decades. If you have any questions about everyday life in the 1940s and the 1970s let us know.
