We had to decide who was most affected by Evacuation.
We discussed it in our groups and then placed our ideas on post it notes within our target boards.
The people who were the most affected were placed in the centre of the board, while the people least affected went in the outside ring.
We discussed as a class why our groups had chosen each ring.
Then we wrote our target boards in our books.
At the end of the lesson there was time for 'hot seating' where some children pretended to be various characters and had to answer questions from the rest of the class.
