As part of our ECO WEEK challenge we were set the task to write a rap expressing our thoughts about SUSTAINABILITY and GLOBAL CITIZENSHIP.

We spent the morning talking about these issues and used our THINKING SKILLS to GENERATE AND DEVELOP our ideas. We then used our COMMUNICATION SKILLS to PRESENT OUR INFORMATION AND IDEAS. We also had to DETERMINE OUR OWN SUCCESS CRITERIA. We decided that our raps had to express our knowledge about and our concerns for SUSTAINABILITY and GLOBAL CITIZENSHIP. They should also be presented with clarity and enthusiasm.

This afternoon we went into the yard to practice our raps. We then performed them to the class who had to evaluate our performances.

Tomorrow we will watch video footage of our raps and decide whether we have met our SUCCESS CRITERIA. We will then be given a short time to refine our raps. Some will be posted on the Blog tomorrow night.
