On Friday we had to choose our D.T. groups in which we will be working to make our electric cars.
Between us we had to COMMUNICATE our ideas to one another and decide on a final design for our car chassis.
We enhanced our NUMBER SKILLS by using everyday measures for the design dimensions.
We then had to think of a procedure to follow to make our car.
We decided on step by step jobs and then tried to decide who in the group will do each job. This will hopefully save time and materials next week as we have issues of SUSTAINABILITY to consider. We are also trying to keep the COST of the car down -NUMBER SKILLS again.
We will be making the car this week and hopefully we will be ready for the WACKY RACES!
Mr Williams' class are the reigning speed champions, but Mrs Davies claims victory because almost all of her cars actually worked compared to only 3 from Mr Williams' class!
Let the competition begin!
