In Pontyclun we are very lucky to have such fantastic support from our peripatetic music teachers.



The children get so much from learning a musical instrument.

It helps with their NUMBER, COMMUNICATION and THINKING skills.


Experts say that playing a musical instrument can help exercise brain power and could possibly be a factor in extending children's intelligence.

Mrs Lewis and Mr Haughty have worked very hard to enhance the musical experience of many of our pupils.

We are proud to say that we are the ONLY school in R.C.T. to have an orchestra.
