On Thursday afternoon we finally made our 'Super Salads and Smoothies'.

There was great excitement as every group chopped, cut and blended their ingredients.

Some groups had brought added extras such as cocktail umbrellas, fruit skewers and fancy glasses.

Mr Williams looked very fetching.

I didn't dare try this broccoli and strawberry smoothie. Call me a coward but..........?

Finally, after lots of hard work, we presented our salads and smoothies to both classes.

We couldn't wait to get started on the tasting of our 'creations'.

The children have worked really hard this week, and behaved superbly. They were allowed to let their hair down this afternoon, or decorate themselves with cocktail umbrellas....whichever took their fancy!

  2. Its lovely to read that the children do so much fun stuff during their final year at school.
I remember my final year in Yr 6 being entirely focused on preparing us for the SAT's, and for some reason Ian Seraillier and Silver Sword just popped up randomly for a moment then.

However its delightful to see such a wide variety of activities that the children do, even throughout the school years ^_^
