We were split into 5 groups and given a selection of measuring equipment: a calculator, a large piece of card, 4 pieces of lined paper and a piece of graph paper.
We were given one hour to think of a method for our enquiry and then jobs were allocated within our groups.
All groups presented their findings at the end of the session and communicated them to the class.
