On Tuesday morning we were set the challenge of annotating a story ending.
We were given some different story endings and asked to look for features of a good story.
We had to look for alliteration, similes, metaphors, onomatopoeia and rhetorical questions.
We annotated these on large sheets of paper.
We then had to write our own story endings using the elements we had found.
Later, we read our story endings out to the class, and evaluated them using Tickled Pink or Green for Growth.
