After dissecting our flowers we went to the school pond.









In a carousel of activities we used magnifying glasses to look at the wildlife in the pond.







Here we saw tadpoles, a frog, some newts and lots of water boatmen.






















Another activity was to complete a worksheet on flowering plants, food chains and mini beasts.















We also sketched some interesting things we found in the nature garden.
