Today we continued our work on short stories with flashbacks.

We talked about 'The Piano', and looked at the characters portrayed in the film.


We then put the characters in the order in which they appear in the film.



We then used a 'Mood Map' to express the feelings of the

main character.

We had to plot how his memories and feelings change through the film.

We looked at the maps of the other groups and discussed why we agreed or disagreed with their decisions.

We then annotated the maps with words to describe his feelings at each point in the film.

Tomorrow we will 'Hot Seat' the characters. Think of some questions that you could ask them.
