Today in English, we used a 'HOT SEATING' activity to help us generate arguments for and against Euro Disney.

Each group was given a certain character which they had to represent.

One group were French farmers.

One group were workers looking for jobs.

One group were patriotic French people.

One group were tourists.

The final group were politicians.

Each group had to decide whether they thought their characters were for or against Euro Disney, and write their reasons in bullet points.

We then 'HOT SEATED' one member of each group. The class were free to ask questions about their opinions and reasons for their choices.

The class came up with some excellent questions and arguments.

Look at the Blog later to see videos of our arguments for and against Euro Disney.
