As a half term challenge, we were asked to design a power point presentation on a subject of our own choosing. We were also asked to present our power point to the class, as this term our teachers will be assessing our speaking and listening skills.

Today we listened to and appraised some presentations.
(Spot the good use of bilingualism in one of our presentations)
This was a useful exercise as it showed us what we need to do to to impress our teachers in our assessment task later this term.

We agreed that our SUCCESS CRITERIA was that:
We should speak loudly and clearly.
We should use plenty of expression.
We should alter the tone and pace of our voices.
We should face the audience when we speak.
We should have equal amounts to say.
Our presentations should be interesting and informative.

We will have plenty of time to practice our 'real' presentations before we show them to the class later in the term.

Well done to all the groups that took part today, you really were excellent.
