Welcome back to what promises to be a very busy half term. Our topic has plenty for you to get your teeth into. It is called 'WOULD YOU EAT IT?' A full overview of what we will be covering will follow shortly.

We began today by watching a video about the causes of W.W.2.
Our task was to use a timeline to sequence events (CHRONOLOGY).
Our SUCCESS CRITERIA was to put a series of events into a time line and to add additional information that we learned from the video.
We worked in our TALKING PARTNERS to find the correct order of events.
We used COMMUNICATION and THINKING SKILLS to work out the CHRONOLOGY.
Here are our final results in CHRONOLOGICAL order.

Germany loses the First World War, 1914-1918.

Germany is made to sign a peace treaty - The Treaty of Versailles.

Hitler becomes the leader of Germany in 1933.

Hitler tears up the Treaty of Versailles.

Germany invades Austria.

Germany invades Poland on the 1st September 1939.

War is declared on Germany by Britain and France, 3rd of September 1939.
